During October half term we had lots of fun and games at the SHOWSTOPPERS holiday club. Based on Scripture Union's SHOWSTOPPERS holiday club material the week was full of games, crafts, drama, music and Bible stories, we learnt how God can use little people to do amazing things as we learn to trust him.
On the final day invited parents along to hear our fab SHOWSTOPPERS song and to watch our "Red Carpet Award Ceremony"!

Showstoppers
We are set for a week of fun and games with the SHOWSTOPPERS holiday club. Based on Scripture Union's SHOWSTOPPERS holiday club material the week will be full of games, crafts, drama, music and Bible stories as children learn about how God can use little people to do amazing things as we learn to trust him.
The holiday club runs from 25-28 October from 10am to 12 noon at Oldfield Park Baptist Church and is open to all people aged 5 to 11 years. The club is free to all but any donations to cover costs would be welcomed. On Friday we are planning to invite parents along to hear our fab SHOWSTOPPERS song and to watch our "Red Carpet Award Ceremony"! Everyone will be welcome to stay to the post award party for lunch!

Showstoppers Holiday Club
Last October kids at OPBCBath were invited to join in the sport themed fun at our holiday club.
We did a sporty assault course and physical challenges. We made some great crafty things, including a winner’s medal. Then we spent time in the Pit Stop Cafe, talking about what we had learned about Jesus, whilst we munched a tasty snack.
On the last day we showed the parents what we had been doing and sang our, by now, VERY loud song with totally awesome actions and dancing. Lots of points had been won during the week and we all celebrated with the winners. Then we shared some lunch together – a great end to four really fun days.
This October we will be doing it all again!!

Kids were invited to join in the sport themed fun at our holiday club in October 2010. The Champions Challenge had us up on our feet and jumping about in our three teams, The Blue Bulls, The Red Roosters and The Green Giants.
Our memory verse was easy peasy too – by the end of the week. Can you still remember it? . . . . .
