Take a Break
Take a Break is our monthly meet and greet meal.
Prepared and hosted by a large group of volunteers, each month we open our hall up to provide delicious, affordable, homemade food and an environment to get to know people from the local community.
The group has seen a real growth in attendance and is proving to be a really welcoming space to encouraging those who have felt isolated and lonely over the past few years.
Regular menus range from Jacket potatoes, soups, salads, casseroles, and sandwiches depending on the season, followed by dessert and served with juice, tea, and coffee. For these sessions there is no need to book, just show up and join us.
There are also seasonal special events, like our Summer Buffet and Christmas Dinner. These meals are often very well attended and we definitely recommend booking in advance to ensure you’re catered for.
